  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Tender and juicy, the chicken is the heart of this dish.
  • 1 can (10 ounces) enchilada sauce Adds depth and richness to each bite.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Creamy and gooey when melted.
  • 10 pieces flour tortillas (6-inch size) Soft and pliable.
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adds warmth to the dish.
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin Amplifies the richness of the chicken.
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder Aromatic and flavorful.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with half of the enchilada sauce, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Take a flour tortilla and place a scoop of the chicken mixture on one end. Roll it tightly and place in a greased baking dish. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
  • Pour the remaining enchilada sauce over the rolled enchiladas and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Allow the enchiladas to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve with toppings like sour cream, avocado, or cilantro.

Notes

Ensure chicken is shredded finely and warm tortillas slightly before rolling to prevent cracking. Don't skimp on the cheese.
